「步行散策‧樂活水岸」計畫，打造城鎮之心，將嘉義市立棒球場前廣場改造成嘉義市第一座人工草皮滑草場、磨石子溜滑梯，滑草遊戲區總面積150坪，滑草場與星光溜滑梯，高度超過4公尺、寬度超過12公尺，大小朋友可滑到下方「棒球宮格」，享受滑草樂趣。
