Easy-to-climb, low‑altitude Xiao Bai Yue, Dajia Shan at 1305 m, sits at the junction of Yunlin and Chiayi, hence also called Yun‑Chi Dajia Shan. Along the way, the natural ecosystem alternates between tea gardens, longan groves, and bamboo forests. Although fog is more common in the afternoon, on clear days you can still glimpse the Yushan Range from afar.
