Taoyuan's unique scenery - combining ''ponds'' and ''lotuses''! The Guanyin Mountain Bike Trail splits along Taoyuan City Road 112 into two loops: a northern and southern route. The northern loop, ''Pond Scenery Trail'', spans 6 kilometers, offering stunning sights as pond after pond glimmers like crystals along the route. The southern loop, ''Lotus Garden Trail'', links multiple leisure farms over 7.5 kilometers and allows travelers to enjoy swaying lotus blooms and savor lotus-seed-themed meals. Starting at Fuxin Road beside the Xuetang Pond in the northern trail, gentle breezes encourage riders to slow down and savor the tranquil sunset reflecting across the lake. Along the second section of Fushan Road, 700 white cypress trees stretch nearly 3 kilometers, their green shade allowing sunlight to filter through in a soothing dance. By late summer through early winter, white cypress blossoms burst across the emerald trees, adding a white surprise to the journey. The 2017 Landscape Art Festival designated Guangfu Village of Guanyin as a venue, installing art pieces along the northern trail to guide visitors through its rich ecosystem while experiencing art's charm. The southern ''Lotus Garden Trail'' can be accessed from County Road 11 (converted to Tao 84 Hsinya Road or Tao 99 Jinhua Road) via signage. Additionally, continuing south through the East-West Quick Road 66 connects Guanyin with Xinhui's lotus gardens, displaying seasonal themed flower fields - sunflowers, lavender, and poppies compete in vibrant beauty to greet visitors. Passing through these blossoms offers immense pleasure, making it an ideal place for couples and families to capture photos. Visitors to Guanyin Mountain Bike Trail need not bring their own bicycles - adjacent lotus farms provide rental services. After tiring rides, many farms feature dining areas for afternoon tea - the perfect humanly delightful season.
