The 823 Memorial Park, also known as "No. 4 Park" or "Zhonghe Park", is located between Yongzhen Rd., Anle Rd., Anping Rd. and Zhongan St. in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City. It can be accessed by taking the Taoyuan Airport MRT Line to the Yong'an Market Station. The park covers an area of approximately 11 hectares, and its periphery is adjacent to or near Yonghe District. It is currently the largest park in the Shuanghe area and is known as the "lungs of Shuanghe". The 823 Cross-Strait War Memorial Monument is the landmark of the park, commemorating a battle that had a profound impact on the development of Taiwan. The 823 Memorial Park is also home to the National Taiwan Library, a century-old library that houses important documents from the Qing dynasty and Japanese colonial era in Taiwan. The park also features a basketball court, children's play area, ice skating rink, pavilions, dog walking area, public restrooms, and fitness facilities, making it a great place for exercise and leisure.
