The Skywalk is located at the lower right side of Carlan Village, Jinfeng Township, along the steep cliffs of Lavan Mountain Range on the right bank of Taimali Creek. It extends across Jinwan Section, Land Numbers 70 and 164 in the Lavan area, facing Lavan Bridge and overlooking Carlan Village. Positioned in the middle to lower reaches of Taimali Creek, the creek's water flows vary seasonally—sometimes majestic and powerful, at other times gentle and trickling. The trail is suspended approximately 20 meters above the river, with a total length of about 200 meters and width of 2.8 meters. Transparent, slip-resistant tempered glass panels are installed roughly every 2 meters along the path, allowing views of the scenery below. The trail winds alongside the creek, offering abundant ecological landscapes of flora and fauna. Opposite the trail, Carlan Village and Lavan Bridge lie facing each other across the hills, creating a picturesque and serene environment. This stunning natural setting has become the most famous attraction in the township. Once completed, the trail connects Carlan Village's Lavan Bridge with Lalecang Bridge, forming a 6.7-kilometer circular cycling path around the village. Along the route, visitors can admire Indigenous crops and flowers. Nearby attractions include Carlan Hot Spring Park for resting one's feet or the Jinfeng Hot Springs for a relaxing soak, capturing the leisurely charm of Taitung.
