Unicorn Park
The vintage store, Unicorn Park, is located on the second floor of JxAcces, with a unique relationship between the upper and lower floors, being run by a junior and senior. The two owners have great taste, allowing customers to visit two stores at once, creating a charming atmosphere. On the Unicorn Park fan page, it's written "Honest confession, welcome to the impure vintage store", but in fact, about 80% of the clothing in the store is vintage, with a high purity rate, rare in Chiayi, or even Taiwan.
A Chiayi girl who fell in love with vintage clothing since junior high, due to a past regrettable romance and her father's initial misunderstanding, unexpectedly embarked on the path of opening her own store. The owner's favorite vintage items to collect are floral shirts. Years of purchasing experience and her unique eye for spotting rare items allow her to instantly tell if a shirt's floral pattern is rare or unique.
In the eyes of fashion enthusiasts, not all second-hand clothes can be called "vintage". The owner of Unicorn Park believes that in Taiwan, vintage clothing is still a niche market, mainly because in recent years, the popularity of indie bands has led to a rise in non-mainstream subcultures, causing more people to notice vintage clothing. However, there are still too few mature and professional individuals in the field, making it prone to superficiality. Chiayi is a slow-paced city with a group of enthusiasts, although they may be slow to follow trends, but they are loyal and dedicated.
