The trail begins where County Road 137 turns into Lane 86 of Shanjiao Road; follow the irrigation ditch to a small open area at the end that can be used for parking. From here, a path leads to the “Tung Blossom Secret Spot.” This section crosses private land that the owner kindly opens to visitors free of charge. During the tung-oil blooming season, white petals drift like snow onto the asphalt. A short climb brings you to a rest platform with sweeping views of tung blossoms on the hillsides and high-speed trains flashing past in the distance—ideal for a family outing. Note that the trail here is fairly steep, so watch your step.
