As you step into the rural museum, you are transported back in time, reliving the simple joys of childhood and returning to a rich, agrarian society. The museum began taking shape at the end of 1990, with news releases in major newspapers and promotion through local offices and agricultural groups. The enthusiastic response from farmers was heartwarming, as they generously provided rare and valuable traditional farming tools and everyday items from rural life. Some of these artifacts are truly antique and were donated without hesitation, filling us with gratitude. These well-preserved tools and daily necessities are a testament to the ingenuity and perseverance of our ancestors. The museum was successfully established in June 1991, covering an area of 270 square meters, with 152 enthusiastic individuals donating a total of 1104 artifacts. The exhibits are categorized into 17 sections, including production tools, daily utensils, living room items, agricultural and sideline tools, bedroom items, fishing gear, kitchen utensils, dining room items, land preparation tools, transplanting tools, weeding and cultivating tools, harvesting tools, transportation tools, irrigation tools, and herbal medicine tools. The exhibits vividly showcase the evolution of rural culture. As visitors enter the museum, they are like stepping into a time tunnel. A sense of gratitude and admiration for the hard work of our ancestors and their contributions to society arises, and a comparison of the historical development of agricultural tools and daily items, as well as the contrast between ancient and modern life, can be appreciated.
