Start from the “Mingchi” and follow the stone steps uphill. This trail has a steeper slope within the Jioujhun Lake area. The dense woods refreshes the mind, and with a breath of the natural phytoncide, one can feel carefree. This forest trail boasts a vast variety of plants and is perfect for forest bathing. With an abundance of resources, this trail allows one to observe various ecology. Insects like the rhinoceros beetle, birds such as the Taiwan black-breasted leaf turtle dove and the azure-winged magpie, and other creatures can be found along the trail. The trail allows for a panoramic view of the Jioujhun Lake and Jianzhuwo rural scenery. On a clear day, one can even see the Taiwan Strait in the distance.
