由部落開車經農路，迂迴上坡至一製茶廠，眼前一望無際，阡陌數里的茶園，因為並無樹木雜草遮蔽，居高臨下遠眺日月潭面、步道及各項設施，歷歷在目，別有一番意境，這就是村民口中的「後花園」。不過山徑狹窄，並且崎嶇不平，普通轎車底盤太低，一不小心可能被石頭或突起的泥土卡住底盤，若無嚮導帶路，切忌貿然前往，否則恐怕得不償失。

據說這裡是自然地形產生的湧泉，它內圈的土域及外圈的水域，水土齊心，象徵著情人永結同心，環繞生態濕地及親水平台，也強調水土保持的重要性。白石湖社區當初是以「找到幸福」為主題，將原本只是一處荒廢的湧泉，透過畫龍點睛的設計改造成雙心造型生態濕地湧泉的「同心池」，以及池畔休憩涼亭「永結亭」，讓生態濕地與親水平臺相互環繞，將水域及土域巧妙搭配，象徵水土齊心、情人「永結同心」，情人攜手來此浪漫出遊，必能為幸福加分。鄰近於同心池的古錐埤則是當地農民「古錐伯」為解決山區灌溉農田的水源問題，古錐伯召集村民所共同開鑿的蓄水生態池，後人為紀念他而將此蓄水埤塘取名為「古錐埤」。(資料來源：大地工程處)
