Exceptionally flavorful, crystal-clear and golden-bright, Puli Shaoxing wine is brewed with the sweet "Ailan spring water." Established in 1917, the Puli Winery was long ago chosen to produce "imperial tribute liquor": from the Japanese era's "Banquet Longevity Wine" served to the Emperor, to the post-war "Chiechou Shaoxing" featured at presidential banquets, and the recently launched "Ailan White Liquor" and "Ailan Wedding Liquor," all are rare treasures. The winery has also successfully developed a range of wine-related products—Shaoxing popsicles, Shaoxing rice cakes, Shaoxing lo mei, and Shaoxing tea eggs—each well worth a taste.
