The historic building “Lin Maoyang’s Former Residence” in Taichung City was founded on the marriage between the Lin and Lai families, constructed in the 1920s, and preserved the distinctive architectural style of the Japanese colonial period. It has experienced the lively rites of the Gush Village era and earned the name “Yide Western-style Building.” After its restoration in 2015, it was opened to the public.
