Located at the upstream section of Chi-Shan Creek (Nanzihsian Creek), part of the Lao Ren Nan Creek tributary in Kaohsiung City, Chi-Shan Creek (Nanzihsian Creek) is Taiwan's first river successfully conserved. Surrounded by sheer mountain walls, the gorge is filled with massive stones, deep pools, waterfalls, and other dramatic canyon formations, creating a breathtakingly vast and beautiful landscape reminiscent of the vertical cliff scenery at Yanshui Port along the Central Cross-Island Highway.
