Cherry Grandpa, originally a small bakery located in Jingmei Wanlong, was dedicated to providing the local residents with the freshest and most immediate bread and cakes every day; later, in response to the demand during the New Year, it learned to make nougat. At first, it just wanted to make customers feel safer, so it developed a nougat using almonds, which have higher health value, instead of the traditional peanut, which is high in calories. Unexpectedly, after its launch, the reaction was very enthusiastic, and the demand for nougat orders increased day by day. In order to pursue stable product quality, Cherry Grandpa later focused on the production of Chinese snacks such as nougat and red date walnut cake as gift items.
Since childhood, Mom never took cooking for the family lightly. Under the influence of this thoughtful concept, Cherry Grandpa believed that "eating is a matter of conscience." He drove a small truck into the remote areas to find the unique agricultural products carefully cultivated by small farmers throughout the island. He continuously developed new products to satisfy customers' taste and visual enjoyment.
