The Lover’s Wooden Bridge spans the Shui-shui-kou Creek: 40 m long and 3.5 m wide, it stands without a single pier. It is Taiwan’s first introduction of wooden bridge construction technology, resistant to earthquakes of magnitude 7 and above, and remains the longest-span scenic timber bridge in the Far East.
