2016 Hakka Capital Certified Restaurant Signature Dishes: Creative Pomelo-Sauce Egg-Wrapped Fish Rolls, Hakka Rice-Noodle Soup, Hakka-Style Crispy Golden Chicken
As one of Taiwan’s few revolving restaurants, Fisher’s Village enjoys an unbeatable location: through the main door you can see the reclining Guanyin Buddha, to the left fishing boats at full load, to the right planes taking off and landing, and behind you the company of the setting sun.
Wait—no need to rise just yet. The turntable beneath us glides forward like a second hand, completing one full revolution in about 90 minutes, just enough time to finish a satisfying meal.
Renewing tradition, forging Hakka-seafood classics
“Sitting in the restaurant, surrounded by scenery in every direction, is pure bliss,” says proprietress Lü with relaxed delight. A devoted foodie, she constantly brainstorms with the chefs to develop new dishes, recently creating several Hakka-seafood specialties to give travelers passing through Zhuwei a fresh experience.
Madame Lü especially recommends Salted Winter-Melon Steaked Mackerel, Twin-Aroma Squid, and Hakka Rice-Noodle Soup as the restaurant’s signature Hakka-seafood classics.
A feast for both eyes and palate
Asked about the restaurant’s future direction, Madame Lü answers firmly, “Keep innovating dishes while satisfying guests visually and gastronomically, so that Fisher’s Village Revolving Restaurant becomes the top name in the Zhuwei area…”
