花蓮縣豐濱鄉靜浦8-1號
The limestone boulders in the riverbed of Showgulun River have, over the years, been eroded by the stream, forming diverse shapes and a white as jade appearance, which earned them the exquisite name "Showgulun's Jade-Rinsed." The newly designed Tsibulan Visitor Center, with its elegant and pure white exterior, features a design concept inspired by Showgulun's Jade-Rinsed. Its walls are coated with white stucco and adorned with aluminum panels woven into patterns reminiscent of the river's unique formations. Different from the traditional sloped roof style, its striking look draws tourists' attention. After the design renovation, "New Pacific Store No. 1," operated by the experienced Yabise team rooted in the East Coast for many years, officially commenced at the relocated Tsibulan Visitor Center. Inviting Yieh Sheng-hua, a talented young Taitung Rukai tribe designer, to incorporate tribal elements into his warm wooden designs, it expands from original visitor center functions by incorporating a bookstore and café. This new addition exhibits intricate tribal handicrafts, offering visitors a cozy spot for a cup of coffee and a break or to browse reading materials and purchase locally made tribal artworks. The Tsibulan Visitor Center has also launched subsequent activities, such as markets, book reading events, and pop-up dinners, continuing to explore and share East Coast regional stories and creative ideas. As a cultural hub connecting the East Coast to the world, it communicates the new Pacific-style life of East Coast tribes. This not only serves as a home for working vacation volunteer friends but also functions as a great rest stop for travelers. If you pass by, don't miss the opportunity to stop here to experience the unique charm of indigenous East Coast tribes!
