Wormsloe Historic Site is a colonial-era estate that showcases the life of European settlers who arrived in Georgia in the early 18th century. The property features the oldest oak avenue in America, lined with live oaks that are estimated to be over 300 years old.

The site's history dates back to 1733 when it was established as a plantation by Noble Jones, one of the original settlers and later became the home of James Habersham Jr., a prominent colonial leader. The estate has undergone several transformations over the centuries, but its colonial past remains intact in many of its architectural features.

Today, visitors can explore the remaining structures, including the 18th-century mansion that showcases Georgian architecture, as well as the remnants of the plantation's outbuildings.

A scenic drive through the property offers a glimpse into the lives of the people who once lived and worked there.
