Hsiao Tung-min was the sixth Vice President of the Republic of China. His former residence was originally a three-combined courtyard house. After some renovations, it was donated to Shih Chien University in 1972 to establish the "Rural Home Economics Promotion Center". The interior of the residence preserves traditional furniture settings and provides relevant historical introductions, which are rich in historical and cultural significance.
