桃園市龍潭區佳安里佳安路2號
Longtan 11-Fen is a neighborhood that has preserved the dormitories once inhabited by American engineers during the construction of the Shihmen Reservoir. These 50-year-old architectural structures blend Japanese and American styles, featuring expansive grasslands shaded by lush trees, making them one of Taoyuan City's renowned recreational sites. The spacious front lawn of the Shihmen Reservoir Administration Bureau is particularly wide, often attracting families and friends for kite-flying, soccer matches, or picnics. The area is also home to numerous camphor trees, providing cool shade for visitors. Nearby, many cherry blossom trees have been planted in the residential area; in spring, when the blossoms bloom, the scenery is breathtaking. Additionally, the Shihmen Reservoir has served as a filming location for several Taiwanese films, including "Mine Girl Days," "What Would Trees Say," and "May 1st." For example, in "Mine Girl Days," a heroine's house was shot in Jia'an Village, so feel free to follow the movie's scenes and reminisce about the charming and nostalgic plot! Furthermore, the nearby Cultural Street is a popular food destination for fresh fish dining. As a result, it's no wonder that countless visitors come here seeking delicious meals, chase movie star locations in Jia'an Village, and picnic or fly kites on the grasslands in front of the Northern Water Resources Bureau.
