Hunei District's Liu family is a prominent surname in the region, and there is also a Liu Family Village. Upon entering the village, one would find three ancient red-brick houses over a century old. Currently, one of these ancestral dwellings is inhabited by the current village chairperson, another is owned by a former district officer, while the third remains unoccupied. All the ancestral houses here are constructed from early Taiwan-made red bricks, with each home covering an area of about 100 ping. The public may take photos outside to experience the rich heritage and cultural charm accumulated over a century within these ancient houses.
