This is a comfortable hiking trail that stretches from 10.5K and 9.5K on County Road 169, where one can turn onto an industrial road to arrive. The rolling hills of Taihe and the terraced tea fields create a harmonious landscape. If starting from the southern entrance of the trail (10.5K), one can see a vast expanse of tea fields stretching out before them, surrounded by high mountains and valleys, providing a sense of elevation and relief. As you walk through the tea fields, the Taihe Elephant Mountain on the left is a notable landmark in this area. The D塔 Mountain opposite seems to be watching the surroundings with a proud and commanding presence. As you continue on the trail, the altitude gradually decreases. A scenic pavilion standing on the mountain peak offers a panoramic view of the surroundings, with a sense of presence brought about by the surrounding mountains. The trail then descends, giving one the feeling of being enveloped by the mountains. A nearby rail used for transporting materials and crops signals that a steep slope is ahead. As you continue down the trail, you can see dense forests composed of fir and broadleaf trees at the edge of the tea fields. The crops on either side of the trail become more diverse, including sweet persimmons, peaches, plums, and bamboo shoots in the bamboo forest. The trail then enters a section with undulations in the fir forest, where you can fully enjoy the forest bathing experience. The native plants and shrubs under the forest also showcase boundless vitality. After exiting the fir forest, you pass through a village and industrial road and follow the signs to "Daqie Dong". This ancient tree was likely intentionally preserved from the early days of pioneer colonization. Nearby, there is an arched bridge that offers a view of the valley and the old tree. After crossing the bridge, there is a short section of trail that you can try out. You may also want to visit.
