高雄市旗山區中山路1號
The Qishan Railway Station was constructed between AD 1913 (the 2nd year of Tai-Sho in Japan) and AD 1915 (the 4th year of Tai-Sho). The architectural style of the station, known as "Pseudo-Western-style architecture," was introduced to Taiwan by Japanese architectural students. This style integrates Japanese, Victorian, and Gothic elements, creating an elegant and adorable design with a light and lively rhythm. The pale blue exterior is highly attractive, drawing tourists to take photos with the station and making it the most iconic landmark in Qishan. The station ceased full operations in AD 1978 (Minguo 67), was restored, and now serves as a famous tourist attraction. It currently offers tourism consulting, banana-themed cultural and creative products, and bicycle rentals.
