The national historic site "Li Teng-fang Ancient House," also known as "Li Jin-xing House," was built in 1860. The layout, feng shui, and decorations of Li's house are all highly distinctive and well-preserved, symbolizing the process of the Han Chinese family establishing deep roots in the local Daxi area. The house owner, the "Ancestral Worship Corporate Foundation of Li Jin-xing, Taoyuan County," entrusted the management of Li Teng-fang Ancient House to the National Museum of Traditional Arts in Taoyuan in 2017. The museum's concept "Passing Down to Future Generations" positions Li's house as the "Daxi Play School," aiming to pass on the cultural and local values of Li's house and Daxi through family and school education.
