On the bustling Minguo Road in Hualien, known as the "Hualien Food Street", where numerous restaurants and eateries are lined up, a historic Japanese-style house, located at the corner of Minguo Road and Guangfu Street, has become the starting point for three men to jointly create their business. The three partners of "Chunshan Japanese Cuisine", who are natives of Hualien, have a shared passion for preserving historical sites. With a desire to maintain the original appearance of the old house, they deliberately avoided excessive renovation. This approach allows the 80-year-old house, known as No. 108, Guangfu Street, to continue exuding its charming atmosphere, which is a unique part of Hualien's landscape. The partners also hope that "Chunshan Japanese Cuisine" will, like the old house, stand the test of time and attract many visitors. "Chunshan" may not boast luxurious decorations, nor does it feature top-notch ingredients or Michelin-starred chefs. However, as soon as you step into "Chunshan", you are sure to experience the heartfelt food preparation and thoughtful service. You will get to savor the fresh and reasonably-priced "Chunshan" cuisine. In this spacious and comfortable environment, you will be serenaded by soothing Japanese tunes, surrounded by elegant lanterns handcrafted by the renowned cultural treasure, Wu Dunhou, and indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine.
