Tiao Shui Ancient Path is one of the six porter trails in the Bagua Mountain range and has been an established route since the Qing Dynasty. Currently, the trail consists of stone steps, paved path bricks, cement roads, and gravel paths after being improved and restored. The Tiao Shui Ancient Path starts at No. 159, Yuancao Road, Section 1 (148 County Road). It features a traditional Japanese-style Torii gate and a parking area, along with several rest areas for visitors to stop and enjoy the scenery. In April, in addition to admiring the beautiful koromogiku (Paulownia) blossoms, visitors can also enjoy the sight of butterflies flying around. About halfway up the trail, there are two naturally springing wells, called the Dragon and Phoenix Spring, which offer the best view of the Paulownia blossoms. The trail is generally flat and easy to navigate, except for some sections with steeper inclines that require careful walking. It is suitable for families to enjoy watching Paulownia blossoms and butterflies. ▌Trail Length: 2.01 Kilometers. ▌Walking Time: 1.5 Hours ▌Facilities: Entrance imagery, parking area (motorcycle, small car), restrooms, pavilion, plaza, benches, directional signs, interpretive signs.
