During her childhood in school, she watched as senior sisters wove, and amidst this immersive experience, Ms. Luo Yinghui developed a great interest in tribal crafts. She made a silent vow to herself that she would one day forge her own path in the art of weaving. Being thrifty, she collected leftover fabric scraps from her senior sisters and practiced diligently. Upon graduating from elementary school, she went on to refine her skills at a garment factory. After 15 years of effort, she finally established the Yinghui Original Art Workshop. Not only did she build a reputation in her hometown, but she also frequently participated in exhibitions in Taipei. With the idea of传承 (passing down) and sharing in mind, she now leads the elderly women in her tribe, stitching together clothing and accessories with a strong Aboriginal flavor. Not only do these pieces meet the demands of her fellow tribe members, but they have also captivated many urbanites who adore the Aboriginal style. Through Ms. Luo's trendsetting, she incorporates current popular elements into all her works, giving Aboriginal crafts new vitality and perpetuating the tribe's most beautiful traditions.
