Located in the Sanxia District of New Taipei City, Wuliao Peak has an elevation of 639 meters. It is also known as Cuohe Mountain or Fengjie Peak. The mountain got its name due to its unique shape resembling five rock peaks of varying heights, similar to fists. Wuliao Peak is one of the three major rock climbing sites in the north, along with Bijiashan Mountain and Huangdi Temple. The climbing process offers a high level of sensory stimulation, with various common obstacles in mountaineering encountered along the way. Climbers often need to use ropes to pull and climb to reach the summit. One section, known as the Niubei Rock to a steep cliff with an inclination of 70 to 80 degrees and a depth of over 30 meters, is called the Qiaobi Xiongfeng section. This approximately 30-meter-long cliff has no vegetation on its wall, with precipitous cliffs on both sides, making it necessary for climbers to be cautious. The summit offers a broad view, with distant sights of Sanxia, Yingge, and Shulin areas.
