Yongan Village is listed among the top ten classic rural villages in the nation, offering well-planned and mature tourism experience packages. Through the organization of the Yongan Community Development Association, one can fully tour Yongan and even extend the travel route to adjacent Longtian and Gaotai. This entire area has become a popular destination along the Taitung Rift Valley line. The first recommended attraction is the Jade Dragon Spring Ecological Trail. Originally a wild stream, the trail features a spring emerging from a rocky cliff where waters have continuously flowed. Locals have long visited to collect water during the annual Dragon Boat Festival, forming a regional custom. Gaotai is another key tourist spot here, functioning as both a sightseeing tea estate and a paragliding base. Every July and August, the Taitung County Government organizes the International Balloon Festival, adding vibrancy to the skies. July also marks the time of the Harvest Festival held by the Yongchang tribe. When visiting in July, besides sampling Fukor tea, watching paragliding, riding hot air balloons, and cycling, remember to attend the Harvest Festival in the tribe to enrich your journey with diverse cultural experiences.
