The Taiwan High-Speed Rail Taichung Station, also known as Taichung HSR Station or HSR Taichung Station and commonly referred to as HSR Wuri Station, is a high-speed rail station in Wuri District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is located adjacent to the Taiwan Railways Administration's Taichung line Xinwuri Station. Since 2010, the station has surpassed Zuoying Station to become the station with the second highest daily ridership outside of Taipei HSR Station. The station is an elevated station with two island platforms, six tracks, and a central track and one side track without platforms. The total area of the station site is about 12 hectares, and the total floor area of the station building is 110,000 square meters. Compared to other HSR stations, this station has a unique characteristic: there are many well-known chain restaurants and souvenir shops inside the station. As the surrounding area is located on the border of Taichung and Changhua, it lacks lively markets and shopping malls. Therefore, on holidays, the station often attracts many people who come for leisure rather than to take a train. The station has a total of 10 exits. Exits 1 to 4 are located on the second floor of the station, exits 5 to 7 are on the first floor, and there is also an unnumbered exit that mainly connects to the station plaza, parking lot for cars and motorcycles, public transportation waiting area, transfer station, and other peripheral facilities. At each station exit, there are signboards displaying a list of buildings and facilities near the exit.
