The entire plot of land on which the Gui Zhu Lin Leisure Restaurant is located has been in the owner's family since his grandfather's time. The land is home to two hundred ancient coffee trees, all planted under betel nut trees. During the 1980s, when betel nut prices were high, more than a hundred of the coffee trees were cut down, leaving fewer than a hundred trees, each more than a hundred years old. In the Gu坑Hua Shan area, this is a uniquely characteristic coffee plantation. In addition to coffee, the plantation also grows mulberries. Every year, from mid-March to early May, visitors are welcome to pick mulberries on site. The restaurant offers mulberry-based health meals and coffee meals, which have a unique flavor.
