The world-renowned Cloud Gate Dance Theatre from Taiwan, which lost its original rehearsal space in Bali due to a devastating fire in 2008, collaborated with the New Taipei City Government to transform the former Central Broadcasting System (CBS) Tamsui Station site into the new Cloud Gate Theatre. The venue officially opened on April 24, 2015. Nestled between the Tamsui Golf Course and the Huwei Fort, the Cloud Gate Theatre offers stunning views of Guanyin Mountain and the Tamsui River estuary. Adjacent to the lotus pond, the Flower Language Restaurant serves delicious dim sum, exquisite new tea creations, and the world-renowned oolong pearl milk tea, all waiting to be savored.
