Jiufen’s Shengping Theater is located on Zhongxiao Road, a major pedestrian path in Jiufen and one of the main filming locations for the movie "City of Sadness". Its entrance resembles a mountain cave tunnel. Inside, it's an old-fashioned building in Jiufen's mountain town, with the owner collecting and displaying many antiques, creating a rich nostalgic atmosphere. Since Zhongxiao Road is a stepped road that ascends layer by layer, the teahouses are also built along the slope step by step. Therefore, being inside the teahouse allows one to enjoy beautiful mountain and sea views. The owner offers Jiufen's specialty purple yam, which has a fragrant and soft texture. Additionally, the shop offers local dishes like mapo tofu and stir-fried wild boar meat, making one feel very welcoming.
