"The 'Red-haired Well' (Hong Mao Jing) is located behind the former Zhongshan Hall at the Changhua Art Museum and has a history of approximately 300 years. It is the last remaining Dutch well in central Taiwan. During the Dutch occupation of Taiwan, many missionaries and soldiers came here to draw water for drinking, leading local people to refer to this well as 'Hong Mao Jing' or 'Fan-zi Jing'."
