Originally named Alikang, it is located on the Danjing Highway, about a 10-minute drive from the Shiba Wang Temple. The port was originally a docking site for small fishing boats and sampans. Today, it has a docking area of 0.39 hectares and a wharf that can be used by fishing boats. However, due to the shallow harbor, the wharf is currently only used for routine operations by fishing boats. If there are strong winds and waves, the fishing boats will sail into the nearby Fukei Fish Port to avoid the rough seas. The onshore facilities include an auction site, a water supply station, an oil storage depot, and signal light poles.
The Caori Harbor in Shimen District has undergone renovations, including optimizing the fishing area, adding guardrails, installing life rings, and offering nighttime barbecues for families. Due to its calm waves and diverse fish species, such as stinky little mackerel, Japanese mackerel, bluefin, and pufferfish, it has been selected as the first fishing port to be transformed. Plans are underway to add a coffee station, allowing visiting anglers to relax and take a break.
