After being taken over by the second-generation owner, the shop continued to uphold its good reputation while renovating into the spacious storefront it is today. Melu Red Tea's greatest feature lies in its traditional brewing method: using full tea leaves to extract and brew a special red tea from Nantou's Yuichi Township. After being blended with the owner's proprietary recipe, the tea achieves a sweet yet not greasy or bitter taste with a rich, fragrant flavor.
