The Baiyun Temple on the White Sand Hills is the highest temple in the Qianting District. Built in 1939, it enshrines Shakyamuni Buddha. The palace-style main hall features yellow glazed tiles and vermilion beam columns, creating a majestic and serene atmosphere. With a sand hill behind and a plain formed by the sediment of the ancient Xiaohu Lake in front, a view from the elevated position opens up a vast horizon, broadening one's perspective. Morning and evening prayers, accompanied by the resonant chime of the stone bell, allow one to forget worldly troubles.
