Miaotong Temple is one of the three major Buddhist temples in Liugui District, renowned for its prosperous incense offerings. It is located near the Baolie Hot Spring Area, accessible via Provincial Highway No. 27, connected to Provincial Highway No. 20, and after passing the Lauenong Creek, visitors can arrive at the temple. Surrounded by hills on all sides, the Lauenong Creek meanders through the longitudinal valley. The temple's layout is solemn and orderly, with lotus pools, pavilions, flourishing flowers, and dense vegetation, creating a scene akin to a "paradise of extreme joy." The orange roofs and white structure stand out against the backdrop of lush green hills, easily visible from a distance. Owing to its elevated position, it is an ideal spot for viewing the Lauenong Creek. The founder of Miaotong Temple is Elder Master Guang Qin, who led his disciples to transform the once-barren land into a flourishing site. Now, with its majestic appearance, solemn pavilions, and meticulously cared-for flowers and trees thriving vibrantly, the temple resembles a terrestrial paradise. On weekends or during the Lunar July, countless pilgrims ascend the mountain for worship.
