On the hillside at the "E.26 Checkpoint" in Xiyin Island stands an immense rock. Seen from the westward view of Zhongzhu Port, the rock resembles a deeply tranquil monk coldly overlooking the world with ease, reading sutras indolently. Local residents have thus nicknamed it "Monk Reading Sutras." From its vantage point at E.26 Checkpoint, the rock oversees the entry and exit of various seafaring vessels. As the sun sets, the sky glows crimson. Looking from Namao Island afar, the "Monk Reading Sutras" silhouetted against the sunset becomes ever more enchanting. In the 1960s, Rear Admiral Lin Cangpu of the First Flotilla of the Coast Guard, upon glimpsing "Monk Reading Sutras," was deeply moved to compose this improvised poem: "Riding the wind to land on Monk's Hill, / Reading sutras in silence, water murmurs by. / Green rocks, withered grass under twilight sky, / Lazy to inquire if currents will return."
