Founded in 1959, our restaurant was started by Huang Jing-xing and his wife Wu Shi-mei as “Zhong-Ping Vegetarian Home” in the Zhongli Station shopping district; nearly sixty years on, it began as a humble noodle stand. Grandma Wu Shi-mei’s signature vegetarian “mixed-vegetable noodles” remain a shared memory for fourth- and fifth-graders who once shuttled through the roundabout商圈. In those early days, before vegetarian products were common, every ingredient—from our famous vegetarian fish, cod, mushroom chicken rolls, vegetarian liver, lion’s-head meatballs, to red-braised mock pork—was developed and made in-house, a tradition we still uphold. Our best-known sweet-and-sour vegetarian fish is especially sought-after, gracing altars and ancestral tables during New Year and festivals. Current services: off-site catering, vegetarian New-Year feasts, à-la-carte stir-fries, set meals, bento orders, wedding-banquet delivery, deluxe set menus, baked rice & pasta single-meals… multiple dining formats to choose from. We maintain a fixed ten-million-NT public-accident product-liability policy so guests can eat with peace of mind.
