Named after his own father, Qingxiang Foods was founded by Xu Shilong, and it has reached its present status under his sole leadership. Xu Shilong, who is nicknamed “Second Brother,” told us that after more than thirty years of making marinated kingfish, there isn’t really any special secret to making it tasty. The most important factor is the quality of the meat—kingfish flesh determines the texture and even the aroma it emits.
