The temple is dedicated to the Three Officials:
- Festival dates: the15th day of the1st lunar month, the15th day of the7th lunar month, and the15th day of the10th lunar month.
The locals commonly refer to it as “Wǔ Lǐ Tíng”; in the Qing Dynasty it was called “Jiā Yīn Tíng”.
Originally, the shrine was simply a pavilion for travelers to rest. There is no record of when the pavilion began to serve as a place of worship.
In1937, villagers urged a renovation and the pavilion in front of the shrine was removed. The Three Officials were relocated to the center, and the shrine was officially renamed “Sān Guān Diàn”.
