高雄市鼓山區忠義路32號
Located on the southern foothills of Shoushan Mountain, the Chungliang Temple in Kaohsiung was originally a Japanese-built Shinto shrine named "Kandabiro." After several renovations and restorations, it has added a mountain gate, the main temple's front hall, and a corridor with elevated pavilions. The structures are adorned with traditional Chinese palace-style golden glaze tiles, reflecting a majestic and solemn atmosphere. Surrounded by ancient cypress trees, the temple offers an environment of serene elegance. In front of the temple, lush greenery and an ancient charm create a tranquil ambiance. In recent years, the city has installed the LOVE observation platform near the Chungliang Temple, a romantic giant art installation that adds a touch of tenderness to the temple's strong and proud aura. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking views of the harbor city. Grand in scale and picturesque in scenery, it has become the perfect spot for tourists to take photos, enjoy spring outings, and experience the diverse charm of the greater Kaohsiung area throughout the day and night.
