Taiwan West Landmark: The Tai-Hai Conch—the largest spherical structural artwork in all of Taiwan. Created in 1992 by Ho Heng-hsiung, then dean of the College of Fine Arts at NTUA, this thin-shell artwork was inlaid by local artists and volunteers with more than 5,000 shells of over 50 species, and remains a wildly popular photo-op.
