The Jinlun Bridge is located in Taipingsi, Taitung County, and officially opened in 2017 as part of the Southern Cross-Island Highway expansion and improvement project. Due to its favorable geographical location, it was hailed by the media as Taiwan's most beautiful overpass shortly after its opening and has attracted many photography enthusiasts to visit, using long lenses to capture its bridge spans that seem to extend infinitely into the sea. When driving south from the northern area along Highway 9 towards the Jinlun Bridge, you will pass through Jinlun Village before arriving at the bridge. Simply turn a corner to enter the village, which in recent years has developed many shops with local characteristics. In addition to offering a brief rest stop within village, it also provides an ideal vantage point from which to capture the grandeur of the Jinlun Bridge from a perspective that cannot be achieved from the bridge itself. To photograph the scenic beauty of the Jinlun Bridge, it is recommended to use telephoto lenses in order to achieve the effect of endless roads extending towards the horizon. Additionally, parking on the bridge is not permitted, and you should never step onto the road to take photographs; safety is always the priority!
