Near the spring and Shui-Men, looking out at the Bagua Mountains, you can see a distinct mountain peak, tall and graceful, with clear folds in its valleys - this is "Long-Zai-Tou". The standing of Long-Zai-Tou and the nearby fields, flowing water, and winding streams create an interesting contrast.
Behind Long-Zai-Tou, in an area of approximately 90 hectares, lies a region designated as the "Taiwan Macaque Protection Area" by the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan. Currently, there are around a hundred macaques in this area. Note that the "Taiwan Macaque Protection Area" was established in 1981, but was abolished in July 2006, reverting to the management of the保安林 (保安 forest).
