The Life Science Hall is the transfer station for commuters and shuttle buses in the park. It is also the hub for public transportation from all directions. For those who want to understand everything about the Science Park, they should start with the Life Science Hall. Located on the 4th floor of the Life Science Hall are the six major industry exhibition halls, which are a microcosm of the industries in the Science Park. The exhibition halls showcase the history and development of the Science Park, as well as the six high-tech industries that have contributed to Hsinchu's development into Taiwan's Silicon Valley, including integrated circuits, computers and peripherals, communications, optoelectronics, precision machinery, and biotechnology. All these can be learned about in the science museum. The exhibition halls are not usually open to the public, but visitors can make a reservation in advance to take a tour. Interested citizens might as well take advantage of this opportunity.
