The Xinhua Forest Farm covers an area of over 370 hectares and was originally an experimental forest farm of National Chung Hsing University. It is also Taiwan's only low-altitude subtropical forest farm and a great place for leisure and vacation. The park has the largest white mahogany forest in Taiwan, so every April, you can enjoy the poetic white mahogany leaves flying in the wind; at the same time, you can also enjoy the fireflies. From May to October is the best season for butterfly watching. Along the walking paths of the botanical garden, you can see Aristolochia, which is a favorite food of the Rajah Swallowtail. The forest bathing trails are the most attractive facility in the Xinhua Forest Farm, which are distributed throughout the botanical garden, like a spider web, crisscrossing and easily accessible.
