The owner has set the rules of the game straightforward and commendable. It is only when you dine in and experience it firsthand that you realize the owner's complex battlefield is the smooth and compact process of preparing dishes on the open flame cooking station, from the kitchen to the dining table, over a period of approximately 1.5 hours. The process is like a performance art, with each step closely linked, leaving the audience captivated.
Such a high-pressure plating process undoubtedly requires a lot of effort and time in food preparation beforehand. Since its opening in 2022, Eureka Home has become a unique presence in Chiayi's catering industry, with its high-technique cooking ceremony and creative menu design. Before entering, a duck and several fish are already hung above the cooking station, and as the chef cooks other dishes over an open flame, the smoky aroma becomes increasingly intense. Finally, watching the chef take down the hung and roasted meats, slicing, cooking, and plating them in front of everyone, not only stimulates the visual and olfactory senses but also greatly satisfies the taste buds.
