The General Fishery Harbor is a holiday fish market and fish auction market, and it is also an important port for the future Taiwan Island Ring Green Highway route. Entering the General Fishery Harbor area, you can admire the fishing boats and fishing village scenery, get to know various kinds of seafood, and taste the fresh seafood caught on the same day. Most fishermen engaged in offshore fishing go out to sea at midnight or early morning and return to port around noon or afternoon to sort their catch. Every day, between 1-2 pm, the auction hall starts to lively auction fresh seafood, whether it is fish, shrimp, or scallops, all are the freshest and most delicious. Visitors are welcome to come and visit the fish market and enjoy a variety of seafood! In recent years, during the summer, the Tainan City Government has organized the Tainan Summer Music Festival - General Shout at the General Fishery Harbor, inviting well-known singers to perform, and there are also exciting fireworks shows and other performances, attracting people from all over Taiwan to experience the passionate summer atmosphere.
